a bit too over sized for a s/m

I wanted to love this hoodie and I know its supposed to be oversized. I love oversized. However, I got the s/m expecting it to fit large, but holy- its extremely oversized. I'm talking xxl or more. Which Im confused about because the l/xl fits the model smaller than mine does in the photo. But this hoodie reaches almost to my knees and even my boyfriend is drowning in it. I love to rock over sized in and outside the house, but i think this one will have to be lounging at home only. No hate- I just think it should be noted.
